STRAVA SIGN UP

If you have a Strava account, you may pre-register for the Hour Run by clicking the "SIGN UP" button below, and that's all you need to do. Your run on Saturday will automatically be synced to the results here. You may also do this after the run on Saturday

WHAT	The Annual One Hour Run
DATE	Saturday August 15, 2020
WHERE	Anywhere you want
TIME	Start anytime before 7pm. Runs must be posted by 8pm.
DISTANCE	As far as you can run in one hour (or less)
COST	$0.00 (Take 15% off if you sign up now!)

REPORTING YOUR RUN USING STRAVA

Any runs/walks you do on Sat August 15 will posted here, along with any photos you attached to the activity.

NOTE! It can take an hour or more for your run to show up in the results, so please be patient. If the run shows up in your account, then it will get posted to the results eventually. Sometimes it takes a while for the Strava servers to sync.

REPORT YOUR RUN MANUALLY

If you don't want to use Strava, You can then manually enter the details of your run and upload a photo on this page

RESULTS

Results will be posted here (links also at top of page)
Results will be ranked by age grading
If GPS data is available you can opt to show your run on the map
Participants can post a photo they take before, during or after their run.

ZOOM MEETING AT 8:00 PM

At 8:00 pm we will have a quick 30 min zoom meeting for social get together to discuss the run. Link to the meeting.

FAQ

Q: What if I run less than an hour?

A: That's fine. The distance will still be counted.

Q: What if I run more than an hour?

A: Any runs over an hour will be cropped to one hour with a simple formula using the average pace.

Q: My Strava run is not showing up in the results

A: It can take an hour or more for your run to show up in the results, so please be patient. If the run shows up in your account, then it will get posted to the results eventually. Sometimes it takes a while for the Strava servers to sync.
